On a gloriously sunny morning, crowds congregate at St Mary and All Saints Church, circling The Angel of Peace war memorial to pay their respects. Whether it be veterans, local digitaries, members of the clergy, armed forces, girl guides, scout troops or members of the public - all are present to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.... our fallen heroes.

There is a feeling of true community spirit and festive fun as the folk of Kidderminster come together to support the town's annual Christmas lights switch-on in front of the famous Sir Roland Hill statue and Kidderminster's grand town hall building. Hosted by the local radio Signal107 roadshow with live band entertainment from Gene Genie and the Lemon Squeezers, this is an evening to truly celebrate the start of the festive season.
